The House Has AMT Back, Passed It Without Paygo

Wed Dec 19, 2007 at 01:21:50 PM PDT

The House is voting on the AMT patch — again.

The Senate dems reached a compromise with the rethugs yesterday that allowed for paygo to be abrogated in return for their promise that the AMT loss would be made up next year.

Then they realized they couldn't trust the rethugs, something happened, and the bill went back to the house.

The motion was just passed without being paid for. The dems are furious, the rethugs are self-righteous.

I'm sputtering so much I can't even type.

Anybody with details, please fill us in.
